This doe and two fawns came to the Crosses of Lafayette on Memorial Day to pay their respects during the vigil to honor U.S. men and women who have perished while in military service to their country.

Five years on and according to Iraq Coalition Casualties, the number of US Troops killed in Iraq now stands at 3,990. We honor the warriors - not the war.

Vigil tonight, March 19, 2008 at the Crosses of Lafayette from 5-8 PM. No candles.
